Why I'm building Kitted

Build the gun you love - part by part, finish by finish - and wear it. Kitted turns your build into tees, prints, stickers and desk mats.

Mission

Let anyone build the gun they love, part by part, and keep a piece of it - on a tee, a print, a sticker or a desk mat.

Kitted is a print-on-demand brand with one idea: wear the build.

Why I’m building it

A lot of people have a favorite gun - a classic, an old military rifle, a modern carbine with every attachment bolted on. Plenty of them can’t afford the real thing, and plenty more just want to show off a build they’re proud of.

That’s who Kitted is for - it lets you keep a piece of your favorite build, even when the real one isn’t in the budget.

How it works

  • Start from a platform in a 3D builder.
  • Kit it out - add attachments, pick a finish, choose a render style like line art, blueprint or semi-realistic.
  • Order it printed on a tee, hat, framed print, sticker or desk mat.

A curated catalog comes first. The full custom builder comes next.

How I’m building it

The app runs on Next.js and Supabase, with an internal 3D studio that renders print-ready designs from visual-only 3D models. The store and checkout run on Shopify, and Printful handles printing and shipping (US-only at launch). Like Deedio, I build it with Claude Code.

A few rules are baked in from day one: every part and camo pattern has a license record before it can go live, nothing printed carries a manufacturer’s name or logo, and Kitted isn’t affiliated with any manufacturer or game publisher.

Where it’s at

The first drop is loading - the store is in pre-launch, and the 3D builder comes after that. If you want first look, get on the list at kittedbuilds.com.
